These tools run entirely in your browser: your file is never sent to us.
Each of these does its work in the page you already have open. There is no upload step, so there is nothing on our side to keep, log, scan or lose.
On this page the claim covers those conversions only — the page's other conversions upload your file, as described below.
That is true for the tools listed above and for nothing else. Everything else on this site — the PDF, video, audio, archive, CAD, ebook, vector, font and spreadsheet converters, image and audio compression, and anything you do while signed in — sends your file to our servers to be processed, and we delete it according to the retention policy in our privacy notice.
The difference is not how carefully a file is handled once it arrives — it is whether it has to leave your device at all. Where it does, the retention and deletion rules are in our privacy notice, and they apply to every tool that uploads.
You do not have to take either half of this on trust: the first half is the absence of a request, and the second is a request you can read.
